When looking at our purpose: Creating a world where anyone can be empowered, we knew that to do this it will take more than just our efforts. What we didn’t know is just how we were going to do it. One way we see this happening is by enabling businesses.
I’d like to share with you our concept of bringing businesses into a position to support your pursuit of living an empowered life.

Ok, here is what I see happening. We are normalizing the idea of living a life of meaning, value, and purpose (MVP). Let me be clear, we have no idea how this will look specifically for you but that’s what makes this such an amazing goal. Living a life of MVP will mean something unique to each one of us because we are all so awesomely individual. Because of this, there is no way anyone can say “this is what it looks like or everyone” or “everyone should take my 10 step program to live the life you have always wanted”. These approaches are giving the same treatment to the masses and that just isn’t how we see the world functioning. What we want to do is be the place to Enable You in your effort to live an empowered life, whatever that may look like to you!
So back to your great question: why is it important for businesses and professionals to support your pursuit of living an empowered life? When we think systemically about this we see a culture united around encouraging and supporting one another. To do this we see businesses and professionals playing a key role. To empower individuals on a global scale, we need support, resources, and the means to achieve the goals we set for ourselves. How good is a runner without shoes? How good is a team without any equipment? We have to invite everyone to the party.
How do we do this?
At first, we thought we could simply engage with individuals within specific retail locations but we quickly realized the difficulties and limitations of scaling a concept like this. The next phase in our evolution was thinking systemically about how we could help people take a forward-leaning holistic approach with their life.
After researching and talking with Ph.D. Psychologists, we have adopted a concept from the field of social work called the wraparound model and making it our own. In this model, we help you take control of your life and health by facilitating and creating an individualized wraparound approach to the support, guidance, and accountability you may need. Collectively each part of the wraparound model utilizes their super-powers in a joint effort to enable you.
Imagine you are a pro athlete training for the Olympics. Your dream is to one day win the gold medal. You have sponsors (businesses), coaches, healthcare professionals that all want to see you win the gold medal. Of course, they have an interest in their own business or profession, but they also have an interest in you as an individual. These sponsors are no longer businesses or professionals trying to sell you things, they have become a personal fan of you and the goals you have set for yourself.
Do you see the difference in that type of experience and relationship between customer and business? Things just got personal, real, and supportive. At eY, we want to create this type of opportunity for anyone. We enable businesses, coaches and professionals to create that individual user experience by supporting you in the goals you have set for your life. Businesses will no longer just sell running shoes, through eY, they will help you become a runner.
This is important because you are important.
Too often we feel like we are alone in life, or for some reason, we shouldn’t ask others for help as it shows a sign of weakness. We think this is silly. We see a culture that will celebrate you and all you want to be and do in life. We see a culture fueled by the realization that each of us has meaning, value, and purpose and worthy of living a life of fulfillment. We see a culture that values encouragement simply because we all have value.
For us, this comes down to one of our core values, and that is: we believe in a fundamental human truth- everyone has meaning, value, and purpose. It doesn’t matter where you were born, what religion you do or do not associate with, your economic position in life, your sexuality, the color of your skin. At your core, we believe you have meaning, value, and purpose and you are worth pursuing a life of empowerment. We want to see this happen and will be relentless in this pursuit.
We see a culture of encouragement. From your friends and family to the very companies that support you, encouragement must be one of the main ingredients.

Our enablement platform can apply to almost anything in life. Whatever empowerment may look like in your life we want to help make that happen.
eY is systems, communities, and industries respectively merging to support an individual. eY is an individual. eY is the stay at home parent trying to figure out their meaning in life after the kids have moved out. eY is the executive trying to find purpose in the work they do. eY is the kid going through middle school needing encouragement to simply just be himself.

We want to bring everyone to the party and we see businesses playing a crucial role in this. We see a mutually beneficial relationship forming between brands and individuals centered around empowerment. Similar to how Simon Sinek talks about the WHY, I think it’s time we look at our purposes, find the common ground and foster purpose-driven efforts that will not only help the one but help the whole. We are all in this together.

All of us at eY have decided to embark on a journey so big that it will absolutely fail if left to just us. Our purpose is to create a world where anyone can be empowered. The only way this can happen is by partnering together as a global force of purpose-driven individuals wildly interested on this universal truth- the need to live a fulfilling life. Hint: this doesn’t happen by trying to just fulfil yourself.
Here is where YOU come in. Like mentioned before, there is absolutely no chance this project will be accomplished if left up to us. We need help from people across multiple professions, world views, and life experiences to help create a systemic approach to this global task.
