Been working the last six months on a project that began with identifying personal touchpoints. That could both help an individual on their health-related journey, let’s say, “becoming a runner”. In addition, helping a big sports retailer deepening its customer relations. The basic idea was, still is, to empower the individual. All in a way that kept its focus on relationships between people and what contributed to the actual cause “becoming a runner”.
Because there is a big difference between providing goods to someone that just probably going to run and contributing to what someone truly needs to take steps towards actually “run that marathon”. Note that only the fact that knowing the individual’s goal deepens the relation.
Anyhow, time passed and the project has now grown into Enabled You or eY for short. Still, the basic idea is the same; Namely that we all need all sorts of support, peers, and inspiration when we want to achieve something or just become a better you. You might want to be the most caring CEO or the best parent or become a novelist. What we came to understand was that we already have what we need around us, but not served in a very enabled way.
We want to create a world where anyone can be empowered
So we started with what we think is the most important ingredient. How that creation is going to feel like using. Everything from the wraparound to the business model. Was this going to be a paid coaching app, no, a booking’s app, no. Precisely how this will take shape and play out we don’t know. But we’re now designing for a purpose; We see a world where people identify and embrace what’s around them (relationships, community, resources, businesses, professionals, etc.) and turn them into superpowers that enable empowerment. Why? Simply because we believe in and want to create a world where anyone can be empowered.
So this is what we will invest our energy into. Figuring out ways on how to further create, design and orchestrate the world’s best enablement platform ever. Only by focusing on enablement. Why is this important? Because we believe that what you need most is people. Enablement is nothing more than being a field for the soccer team or the air you breathe. It’s what you need to keep moving in the direction you want to go. The only thing we do is to bring you what you need in one place, in your pocket all coordinated and smoothly aligned. Because you’re going to have several projects, with several peers supporting you, inspire you and celebrating your success.
